First draft of script

Last week I read a chapter of Writing for Animation, Comics, and Games. This was a really good rescourse for me to learn about all the steps a story goes through before it starts to go into production. The book was really useful for me to learn all the rules on formatting scripts and tips on how to write one. Using what I learned in this book I took the premise and outline for my story and produced a first draft of my script.

Script draft 1

With my second draft I will try to reduce some lines because it feels a bit too wordy in some areas, and the script is a few pages too long. I think that there are lines which are unnecessary and I might be able to tell the story non verbally in some areas.

breakdown capture

I went through the script and created a breakdown document listing all the assets which will need to be created for the story. I can see that most of the important assets are the sound effects, so I might be able exchange some lines for other sounds seeing as the story is already pretty dependant on sound effects.
